Bridal Asia unveiled this seasons bridal trends with a glittering fashion show hosted on 17th September at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. The designers showcasing their Bridal Asia collection included some of India’s best designer names: Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Bhairavi Jaikishan & Pallavi Jaikishan and jewelry by Nemichand Bamalwa & Sons from Kolkata and Delhi’s Vandana Munjal. Also bringing a flavour of sub-continental fashion were the bold bridal creations by Honey Waqar of Pakistan.
From sequins to ruffles, 2010 is set to become one of the most exciting bridal seasons. Bridal Asia 2009 saw the move towards individuality, with designers opting to showcase diverse collections, everything from the traditional dreamy, romantic bride draped in pastel coloured saris, to bold and confident brides strutting their best in vibrant colours. This year also saw the a move towards the more minimalist, elegant bride walk down the catwalk.
